Empathetic to a fault as a kid, I was always putting myself in other people’s shoes.
Now I pretend I’m other people when making silly words and doodles because understanding others is what drives great work.
My Chinese name means ‘Money for Family.’ My legal name is based off the word Diamond. I’m the youngest of four. Of course, I am my parents' prized jewel.
Two of my favorite memories were making cold brew during lockdown with my sister and growing up drinking traditional tea with my dad out of an IKEA French press. My love for fun drinks must be genetic.
Whether it was crafting monsters in my head watching SYFY’s ‘Face Off,’ designing ballgowns on Project Runway, or producing my own reality show, ideas and concepts have swirled around in my head longer than I can remember.
My mind runs a million miles per hour, so why not make a career out of it.
